cBidz is a new mobile application that empowers ‘Champions for Change’ by allowing publicly admired and followed people generally known as celebrities, to leverage their fan-status in promoting causes that make our society better. cBidz is an auctioning platform that allows celebrities to sell items in support of social causes that they are passionate about.
Celebrities can sell anything from apparel on a tv show or a movie to sports memorabilia used by an athlete and let the fans that cherish these items bid for them and the proceeds going to a cause supported by the celebrity seller or who we call the Cellerbrity™.

The “c” in cBidz stands for your choice of change, champions, causes, celebrities, and so many other such words that define our mission – “Creating social capital from fame”. Our expertise and experience in an ethical auction model allows a win-win for the buyer, seller, and the causes that they support.

How It Works?
Empowering Connections, Building Trust
The winning bidder becomes the de facto buyer when an auction ends. The complete process depends on each party doing what they have committed to do in the auction. As such a buyer needs to pay the total amount due (winning amount + transaction fees) within 48 hours of an auction closing. If that doesn’t happen then the second person behind the original winner has a chance to buy the item at their bid price.
In addition, if the buyer defaults in making their payment in a timely manner they will be suspended from the app and possibly even require to have a balance deposit to be reinstated.

It is critical that the proceeds from such auctions are for the betterment of society so we make sure that the monies are truly donated to legitimate charities. Charities will only be added to our list once they are vetted and qualify for all the tax deductions approved by the respective governments. The tax deductions are always procured by us in the name of the Cellerbrity™.
